While catching up with our friends at BushBaby Travel  (specialists in worldwide, family friendly travel) we were keen to hear where people are booking their holidays for this year and we can now officially confirm these top trending, long haul travel destinations for 2019:

Cambodia

Cambodia’s Islands are hot! Featured in The Wall Street Journal as “The World’s Hottest New Beach Destination”, hotel openings include Alila Villas Koh Russey on a gorgeous beach, Six Senses Krabey Island, and a new Tamu Resort on spectacular Koh Rong. With room rates from around $550 for a Hideaway Pool Villa at the Six Senses and a Garden Suite at Alila Villas coming in at under $300 in low season (our Spring/ Summer) this is tropical resort living that seriously rivals the Indian Ocean. Combine with Siem Reap, an easy one-hour flight away, for a cultural extravaganza and this is a destination that really does offer it all. For more ideas visit bushbaby.travel.

The Chinese have been visiting our shores for many years and yet China hasn’t really featured as a key holiday destination for UK tourists, but that’s changing. Yes, there are all the famous sights to see – how could you miss the chance to see the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square or the Terracotta Army? But the country is opening up and improving its tourism infrastructure all the time – hence a new daily flight from Heathrow to foodie-capital Guangzhou. For more ideas visit bushbaby.travel.
